Lace Stamped French Tips Tutorial

Hey guys! Today I've got these super girly lace stamped French tips for you, no freehand painting required! I think these are so pretty and dainty, and would even make a great bridal look. Read my tutorial below to see how to get these for yourself :)

What I Used:

- OPI Ridge Filler Base Coat
- OPI Act Your Beige
- OPI Alpine Snow
- Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
- Circular paper labels
- Stamper, scraper and image plate BP-02 from bornprettystore
- Cottonbuds
- Nail polish remover and cleanup brush

1. Apply a base coat to protect your natural nails from stains and provide a smooth base for polish.

2. Paint your nails one or two coats of a sheer pink polish and allow to dry completely. Adding a fast-drying topcoat here will speed up this process.

3. Using tip guides or just a round sticky label like I did, place your guide/label on your nail, just underneath where your natural white tip finishes. Smooth this down firmly so the polish won't seep underneath.

4. Paint your tips with a white polish, overlapping the guide/sticker slightly to get a smooth line, but don't paint below it. While the polish is still wet, peel off your guide or sticker to reveal your perfectly painted tips.

5. Apply a layer of top coat to seal in your tips and allow to dry completely before beginning your stamping.

6. Paint your selected area of your image plate with a white polish and scrape off the excess with your scraper. Pick up the image with the stamper by pressing it firmly onto the plate, line the stamper up with your nail, then roll it firmly across your nail to transfer the image. If you're a first-time stamper, or having some problems, you can read my previous stamping post for some helpful tips here.

7. Clean the polish off of your stamper, scraper and plate with a cottonbud and polish remover between stamping each nail to ensure all your images transfer smoothly.

8. Finish off with a top coat to smooth out the stamping on top, and cleanup around your nails as always with polish remover and a cottonbud or brush.

So easy, but so pretty! I'm quickly becoming a stamping convert, I really should do some more freehand designs before I get completely hooked! Feel free to share your thoughts or suggestions with me in the comments below, or on Facebook or Instagram. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you next time!
