Daisy Nails Tutorial
Hey guys! Spring has finally sprung, and what better way to celebrate than with daisies! This simple daisy print can be achieved with a few messy lines tied together with a yellow dot, and hey they actually look like daisies! To find out how I painted these, see my tutorial below :)
What I Used:
- OPI Ridge Filler Base Coat
- OPI Gelato on My Mind
- OPI Alpine Snow
- OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana
- HK Girl Glisten and Glow Top Coat
- Striping brush
- Dotting tool
- Nail polish remover and cleanup brush
1. Apply a base coat to protect your natural nails from stains and provide a smooth base for polish.
2. Paint your nails two coats of a light blue colour. I am loving Gelato On My Mind from the new OPI Venice collection!
3. Once your base colour has dried, using a striping brush and white polish paint some thin white lines in a sort of asterisk shape both near the cuticle and near the tip. Try to flick the brush at the end of each line so you get a pointed petal shape.
4. Add a dot in the centre of your flower with a dotting tool and a yellow polish to complete the daisy.
5. As usual, finish the look with a fast-drying top coat and clean up any mess with polish remover and a brush or cottonbud.
And there you have it, only five steps to achieving this adorable little daisy design! Let me know your thoughts or suggestions in the comments below, thanks for reading and I'll ee ya next time!
