Pastel Easter Nailart Tutorial

Hey guys, today I have this cute and colourful pastel Easter design to show you! With a few bright colours, a thin brush and a dotting tool the possibilities really are endless, but I'll tell you how I did this particular design in my tutorial below, so read on if you'd like to find out :)

What I Used:

- OPI Natural Nail Base Coat
- OPI Sorry I'm Fizzy Today
- OPI Gelato On My Mind
- OPI You're Such A Budapest
- OPI That's Hula-rious
- OPI Alpine Snow
- OPI Black Onyx
- Striping brush from bornprettystore
- Dotting tool
- Nail polish remover and cleanup brush

1. Apply a base coat to protect your natural nails from stains and provide a smooth base for polish.

2. Paint each nail two coats of a different bright or pastel colour and allow to dry. I chose a bright pink, baby blue, pastel purple and pale green.

3. Using a small dotting tool dipped in white polish, add a row of dots vertically down the centre of your nail, spacing them out evenly. Then add a second line beside it but slightly off-set, so the dots aren't parallel to each other. Continue these lines of dots until your nail is covered, trying to keep the spacing even between all your dots. Don't add dots to your ring finger.

4. For your ring finger, just using the brush from the bottle of polish, paint a white semi-circle near the tip of your nail by carefully swiping the brush from one side of your nail to the other, and filling in the shape. This will be the head of your Easter bunny.

5. Now using a thin nail art brush with the same polish, paint the ears on top of the head. I chose to do one of the ears bent over to mix it up a little.

6. Add a thin line inside the ears using the same brush and a pink polish for some detail. Next paint a small pink triangle in the centre of the bunny's head ear the tip for the nose.

7. Using a black polish, carefully paint two thin horizontal lines coming from either side of the nose for the whiskers. Finally add two black eyes using a dotting tool, and then add the white dots inside the eyes with white polish and a smaller dotting tool.

8. Once everything has dried, add a top coat to seal in your design and add shine, being careful not to smudge your work. As always, clean up around your nails with polish remover and cottonbuds or a cleanup brush.

So cute! Let me know what you think of this design in the comment section below this post, or like it on Facebook or Instagram. Thanks for reading, and I'll see ya next time!
